Dental veneer consultation

A dental veneer consultation is a dental assessment with an aesthetic purpose that includes a consultation for dental veneers.

Aesthetic dental consultation is recommended for any patient who wishes to resolve a dental aesthetic problem related to their smile, the shade, shape, or length of their teeth, or even with existing dental spaces between their teeth.

This dental consultation allows for proper scheduling of the placement of dental veneers.

This cosmetic consultation before the placement of dental veneers may also include checking the condition of the gums and the alignment of the gum-tooth margin.

The purpose of this cosmetic dental consultation is to inform the patient and also to determine the feasibility of the cosmetic restoration(s) and the most appropriate method(s) to be used to achieve it.

The procedures performed during this session are:

• Extraoral and intraoral photos

• Occlusal balance control

• Analysis of dental positioning

• Gum condition analysis

• Gum-to-tooth margin control

• Direct aesthetic mounting on the upper anterior teeth with composite or trial dental veneers.

Purpose: to allow the patient to assess whether the aesthetic proposal meets their expectations.
