Like architects, we create a simulation of your new smile right in front of you, based on a photo of your face smiling. We can then present you with three different options for your new smile. Once the new smile design is approved, we select the composite dental veneers that most closely match this simulation. Subsequently, the dentist performs a minimally invasive preparation on the outer surface of the patient's teeth, removing only a very thin layer of enamel (0.2 to 0.5 mm). The procedure is painless. If necessary, an impression of the prepared teeth is taken and sent to the laboratory with instructions for the desired shade and shape. If no impression has been sent to the laboratory, we can place the veneers in one or two appointments. When we receive the models from the laboratory, we schedule an appointment a few days later to place them on the teeth in question, then glue them onto the enamel of these teeth. It is possible to reattach a veneer that has become detached from a post-and-core crown or a tooth with a vestibular inlay. The principle is very simple.
