Preventive dental check-up
Is this consultation suitable for my dental needs?
A preventive dental consultation is a dental check-up aimed at preventing future problems. It is a dental consultation that allows the dentist to verify that the oral health is healthy and free from cavities, gum or periodontal disease, or any other pathology.
It is recommended for any new patient who does not present a problem or a particular need.
The procedures performed during this session are:
Transillumination dental diagnosis. This is a non-invasive technique that uses light to detect occlusal and proximal caries, dental cracks, subgingival fractures, tartar, dead teeth, and overhanging restorations. During this diagnosis, each tooth is placed under the light.
Two occlusal dental radiographs can be taken if necessary.
